This is a much older challenge set by Kristine earlier in the year. I thought the colour combo looked appealing, but at the time the 2 InColors used were not yet available in Australia. Then when they were I saw that Groovly guava colour and it just looked bad to me. Today I was looking thru all of her previous CI’s and I decided to give it a go. http://kwernerdesign.com/blog/2008/03/color-inspiration-2.html
Still not fussed on the whole Groovy Guava thingy but I do like how it works with these colours. This card is also an adaption of a nother card i made found here https://misstreez.wordpress.com/2008/05/25/where-are-the-serviettes/
- Stamp Set – Wild Roses, Baroque Motifs, Party Punch
- Card Stock – Wild Wasabi, Groovy Guava, So Saffon, Blush Blossom
- Ink – Wild Wasabi, Groovy Guava, So Saffon
- Accessories – Designer label punch, Stamp-a-ma-jig, sponges, double stitch ribbon (Wild Wasabi)
I’m happy with the way this card has turned out. I tried doing something new with the punched out and layered sentiment. It really makes the card I think.
Thanks for dropping by.
