About
Hi, I’m Theresa. I live in Gatton, a rural farming town not far from the big smoke of Brisbane, Australia. I have two nearly grown, teenage children, both of whom are not currently residing with me. Despite that, they are still a big part of my life and I still get to have the good, bad and the ugly when it comes to raising teenagers. Apart from that, I lead a very independent life.
I got involved in stamping about 2 years ago. It all started with a creative school assignment I had to submit, and I chose to make an art journal. It was while I was foraging for materials down at the local stamping and scrap shop that a new world of creation was opened to me.
Early 2008, I became a Stampin’ Up demonstrator because I really love creating cards with stamping and I wanted to show others how to be creative in this field too. It also led to blogging, which has opened up a whole new world for my hobbie. Due to work commitments I ceased being a demostrator, but still enjoy sharing what I do on this blog.
As a stamper I love trying out new techniques. I like to do challenges when I have the time and my all time favourite challenges would have to be Inspiration Challenges. I love to create a card that evokes a feel or look of an inspiration picture unrelated to cardmaking.
My other interests are cloth doll making, embroidery, sewing, and gardening.
